27-1026. Violation; classification A. Beginning April 1, 1997, an owner or operator of an exploration operation or mining unit shall not: 1. Cause a surface disturbance at an exploration operation or mining unit in violation of this chapter. 2. Fail or refuse to conduct reclamation according to the terms of a reclamation plan authorized by this chapter. B. A person who violates this section is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor.
