26-1008. Apprehension of deserters Any officer having authority to apprehend offenders under the laws of this state, the United States or a state, territory, commonwealth or possession or the district of Columbia may summarily apprehend a deserter from the national guard and deliver him into the custody of the national guard. If an offender is apprehended outside this state, his return shall be in accordance with normal extradition procedures or reciprocal agreement.
