23-643. Extensions of time; regulations A. Whenever in this chapter a period of time is specified for submitting any payment, appeal, application, request, notice, objection, petition, report or other information or document, the department may extend such period of time if the party establishes to the satisfaction of the department that the failure to make a timely submission was due to the delay or other action of the United States postal service or its successor. B. The department shall adopt and may amend, modify or repeal regulations governing the extension of time authorized by this section.
