23-1061.01. Treatment by prayer or spiritual means Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prevent a workman, whose injury or disability has been established to the satisfaction of the commission, from relying in good faith on treatment by prayer through spiritual means in accordance with the tenets and practice of a recognized church or religious denomination by a duly accredited practitioner thereof without suffering reduction or suspension of his compensation benefits under this chapter, provided that nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prevent a workman who desires it from being furnished with such treatment by prayer through spiritual means if the commission does not object thereto.
