20-431.01. Applicability A. This article applies to all group and individual life insurance policies and certificates except: 1. Variable life insurance. 2. Individual and group annuity contracts. 3. Credit life insurance. 4. Life insurance policies with no illustrated death benefits on any individual exceeding $10, 000. B. If an insurer markets a policy form with an illustration that is subject to the requirements of this article, the insurer is not required to provide a policy summary to the applicant or the policyowner as otherwise required pursuant to administrative rule.
