17-311. Duty to report shooting accident resulting in injury or death; duty to give assistance; authority of officers A. Any person who, while taking wildlife, is involved in a shooting accident resulting in injury to another person shall render every possible assistance to the injured person, and if the accident is fatal, he shall immediately report the accident to the nearest law enforcement officer available and render such assistance as may be required. B. Such person shall within ten days file with the department a full and complete written report of such accident.
