16-1001. Applicability of penal provisions The provisions of this title defining crimes involving elections and crimes against the elective franchise, and prescribing penalties therefor, apply to any general, primary or special election or to any election called by a board of supervisors for any purpose for which the board is authorized by law to call an election.
