15-404. Election officers; compensation A. In school district elections held at a time and place other than general elections, at least twenty days before the school district election the county school superintendent or other authority conducting the election shall appoint for each election precinct or combination of precincts not fewer than one inspector and two judges as election officers and may appoint additional clerks and marshals necessary to properly conduct the election. B. For the purpose of this section, an employee of a school district shall not serve as an election officer for the school district. If those appointed are not present at the opening of the polls, the electors present may select them. In all school district elections each election officer shall receive the same compensation as other election officers of a general election.
