15-1344. Authority for enrollment of children under three years of age; definition A. The board of directors may enroll a child under the age of three years in the schools for the deaf and the blind without charge if the person having legal custody of the child is a resident of this state and the child is sensory impaired to an extent that the person would benefit from a specialized program. B. For the purposes of this section, the residence of the person having legal custody of the pupil is considered the residence of the pupil. C. For the purposes of this section, " legal custody" means legal custody pursuant to section 15-824.
