11-458. Refusal by sheriff to pay or disburse fine or forfeiture received; classification A sheriff who receives a fine or forfeiture and knowingly fails or refuses to pay or disburse it according to law within thirty days after the receipt thereof, is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor.
