(a) Except as provided in (b) of this section, a person who violates a provision of AS 23.10.325 - 23.10.370 is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction is punishable by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or by both. (b) A person who employs a minor in violation of AS 23.10.350(f) is guilty of a class A misdemeanor for the first offense and a class C felony for the second and each subsequent offense.
