(a) AS 21.78.020, 21.78.030, 21.78.130 - 21.78.190 and 21.78.330(1) - (4) and (6) - (12) constitute and may be referred to as the Uniform Insurers Liquidation Act. (b) The Uniform Insurers Liquidation Act shall be interpreted and construed to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law of those states that enact it. To the extent that its provisions when applicable conflict with other provisions of this chapter, the provisions of the Uniform Insurers Liquidation Act shall control.
