(a) The department shall adopt, with the concurrence of the Department of Public Safety, regulations establishing standards and procedures for the issuance, renewal, reissuance, revocation, and suspension of certificates or licenses required under AS 18.08.084, as well as other regulations necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter. (b) The department may charge fees set by regulation for the certification or licensure of individuals and organizations under this chapter.
