(a) Unless specifically provided otherwise by law, all annual wildlife heritage, hunting, and fishing licenses issued pursuant to this chapter shall be dated when issued and shall authorize the individual named on the license to participate in the licensed activities from September 1 or the date of issuance to the next August 31, and then only within the rules and restrictions provided by law. (b)(1) An individual may not use any license issued by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources as a valid or supplemental form of government issued identification for any purpose other than participation in the licensed activities authorized by the department. (2) The department may adopt rules to implement this subsection.
