(a) All liquefied petroleum gas which is purchased from gas fields in Alabama shall be either metered or weighed and an invoice showing the amount of gas purchased shall be given to the purchaser or his agent. (b) Any person who violates subsection (a) of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
