For the purposes of this article, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) CONTRACT OF SALE. Such term shall include sales, agreements of sale, and agreements to sell. (2) PERSON. Such term shall be construed to import the plural or singular, as the case demands, and shall include individuals, associations, partnerships, and corporations.
