(a) This section shall apply only in Calhoun County. (b) Any person who commences employment in the county as a court reporter after January 1, 2001, shall not be entitled to receive the salary supplements as provided in Act 392 of the 1971 Regular Session (Acts 1971, p. 680) and Act 581 of the 1971 Regular Session (Acts 1971, p. 1300), or any other salary supplement provided by local law.
