Alabama Code § 45-55-71.02

Incumbent Commissioners; Successors

The present incumbent county commissioners, who were elected at the general election in 1984 pursuant to an order of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, shall remain in office until their successors are elected in the general election in 1988, which election shall be held under the district plan established in this part.
