THIS SECTION WAS REPEALED BY ACT 2026-312, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2026. The board, at its discretion, may allow any inmate, between the ages of 14 and 22 only, to participate in the release program to further the inmate’s education. Under this section the inmate must follow all the rules set forth for other inmates participating in the work release program.
