(a) This section shall only apply in Jefferson County. (b)(1) All funds generated by Cooper Green Mercy Hospital shall be retained by the hospital in its general fund to be expended as budgeted by the hospital in its general fund to be expended as budgeted by the hospital. (2) Funds generated by Cooper Green Mercy Hospital shall not be required to be deposited in or appropriated from the Jefferson County General Fund.
