THIS SECTION WAS AMENDED BY ACT 2022-169 IN THE 2022 REGULAR SESSION, EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2022. TO SEE THE AMENDED VERSION, SEE THE VERSION LABELED PENDING. (a) Beginning on June 1, 2015, the Judge of Probate of Houston County shall receive an annual salary of one hundred five thousand dollars ($105,000). Notwithstanding Chapter 2A of Title 11, the judge of probate shall be eligible for any cost of living increase afforded to all county employees. (b) In order to receive the compensation provided under subsection (a), the judge of probate shall waive any compensation provided under Section 17-3-60, relating to reports from the state voter registration list.
