(a) The several members of the Etowah County Board of Education shall hereafter be elected by only those qualified electors in the county who are served by the Etowah County Board of Education. (b) Nothing in this section shall affect the unexpired term of any present member of the Etowah County Board of Education. (c) The provisions of this section are supplemental and shall be construed in pari materia with all other laws relating to the Etowah County Board of Education; however, those laws or parts of laws in direct conflict or inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
