(a) The Covington County Commission shall have published an annual financial statement, showing the receipts and expenditures of money for the county. Such statement shall be published in a newspaper published in Covington County as soon as practicable after September 30th of each fiscal year. (b) The cost of the publication of the financial statement shall be paid for from the general funds of the county.
