(a) The authority may employ an executive director, who shall be its chief executive officer and, subject to the control of the board of directors, shall have supervision over the business and affairs of the authority. The executive director shall serve at the pleasure of the board of directors. (b) The executive director shall have all powers and duties usually incidental to the office of chief executive officer, except as specifically limited or expanded by the bylaws or a resolution adopted by the board of directors. (c) The executive director shall be an ex officio member of all standing committees of the authority. (d) The executive director, from time to time and additionally upon request by a majority of the board of directors, shall report to the board of directors regarding all matters within his or her knowledge that should be brought to the board of directors for the best interest of the authority.
