As used in this subpart, the following words have the following meanings: (1) BOARD. The merit system board created by this subpart. (2) COUNTY. Chilton County. (3) EMPLOYEE. Any law enforcement officer, radio operator, jailer, and law enforcement support personnel, not excepted by Section 45-11-231.02, who is employed by the sheriff. (4) MERIT EMPLOYEE. Any employee who shall have completed one year of probationary employment.
