(a) The Commission on Uniform State Laws shall annually present its dues requirement to the Legislative Council for payment. (b) Reimbursement of members of the commission for their necessary expenses in attending the meeting of the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws shall be the obligation of the body or agency the member represents or by the appointing authority in the case of individuals who are not public officials or public employees. No reimbursement of expenses shall be made for life members who are no longer otherwise public officials or public employees.
