The Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency is hereby created within the Executive Branch of State Government to coordinate public safety in this state. The Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency shall be comprised of the following: (1) The Department of Public Safety. (2) The State Bureau of Investigations.
