Distributions to an Agricultural Authority in Certain Counties

In any county where an agricultural authority has been incorporated prior to September 1, 2017, under Article 3, commencing with Section 11-20-70 of Chapter 20, Title 11, for the purpose of constructing and operating facilities to promote agricultural business and economic development, 70 percent of the payments made to the county commission of the county pursuant to Section 40-28-2 shall be distributed by the county, upon approval of a majority vote of the local legislative delegation residing in the county, to the agricultural authority to be used for the purposes of the authority, notwithstanding any other general or local law to the contrary.
