The Secretary of State shall perform all duties required by the Alabama Fair Campaign Practices Act, including, but not limited to, the following: (1) Maintain a system for the electronic filing of campaign finance reports. (2) Levy and collect civil penalties for failure to file timely reports. (3) Work cooperatively with the State Ethics Commission to fully implement and enforce all campaign finance laws.
