(a) The Governor shall disclose all expenses from the Governor’s Contingency Fund to the citizens of Alabama. The Governor shall maintain a record of the expenditures from the Governor’s Contingency Fund for public inspection and shall post the records of the expenditures on the Internet at the official website of the Governor. (b) The disclosures and posting under subsection (a) shall be made quarterly, on the first working day of the second quarter following the quarter that is the subject of the report. (c) The Department of Examiners of Public Accounts shall annually audit the quarterly disclosure required in subsection (b).
