Governor Authorized to Designate an Individual to Serve in His or Her Place on Multi-Member Bodies

(a) If any act of the Legislature provides that the Governor is designated as a member of a multi-member body, the Governor may designate any individual to serve in his or her place. (b) The Governor’s designee under subsection (a) shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor. (c) This section applies to multi-member bodies in existence on August 1, 2021, and any subsequently created.
