(a) In all conveyances of standing timber by deed or other instrument, wherein no provision is made as to when the grantee shall cut and remove the timber, the grantee shall have 10 years in which to do so. (b) In all conveyances of standing timber by deed or other instrument wherein it is stipulated that the grantee is to have a reasonable time in which to cut and remove the timber, 10 years shall be deemed a reasonable time.
