Executive Director; Incapacitation of Director; Official Bond

(a) The board may employ an executive director, prescribe the duties, and set the salary of the executive director. (b) In the event the director should become incapacitated or unable to perform the duties of the position, the board may employ a person or persons to assume the duties of the director for as long as the board deems necessary. (c) The director shall make and file with the Secretary of State an official bond in an amount to be fixed by the board. Premiums of the bond shall be paid out of funds of the board. The bond shall be payable to the State of Alabama and shall be written by an approved bonding company licensed to do business in the State of Alabama.
