(a) Under no circumstances shall any person practice or represent himself or herself as a speech-language pathologist or audiologist in this state unless he or she is licensed in accordance with this chapter. (b) Licensure shall be granted either in speech-language pathology or audiology if the applicant meets the respective qualifications.
