Creation; Composition; Powers and Duties; Quorum

(a) There shall be a board of pilotage commissioners in each Class 2 municipality, to be known as the State Pilotage Commission. The commission shall consist of three voting members. One voting member shall be engaged in a local maritime business, one voting member shall be an active bar pilot, licensed and branched by the State Pilotage Commission, and one voting member shall be a member of the local business or professional community. (b) The State Pilotage Commission shall have the powers and duties as are prescribed in this chapter and as may hereafter be prescribed by law. (c) A quorum for the transaction of commission business shall be two voting members of the commission.
