(a) The Alabama National Guard and State Military Department shall adopt Army Regulation 27-1 and Air Force Instruction 51-304 as controlling when judge advocates are in federal service and when not in federal service in an advisory capacity. (b) This chapter is supplemental and shall not be construed to abrogate any duties, responsibilities, or liabilities of judge advocates or legal services personnel.
