THIS ACT WAS AMENDED BY ACT 2026-289, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2026. SEE ACT FOR AMENDED LANGUAGE. (a) In accordance with Army Regulation 27-1, all paralegals and warrant officers are under the direction of a State Staff Judge Advocate with supervision delegated to each Command Judge Advocate, Staff Judge Advocate, or Brigade Judge Advocate, as appropriate. (b) Unless directed otherwise by the State Staff Judge Advocate, all paralegals and warrant officers shall perform only legal professional duties as outlined in their respective legal service regulations.
