(a) The Clerk of the House of Representatives shall be elected at the beginning of the quadrennium, and shall receive an annual salary of such amount as provided by the House Legislative Council. (b) The House Legislative Council shall conduct an annual in person evaluation of the performance of the Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Assistant Clerk of the House of Representatives.
