Commissioner of Insurance - Delegation of Powers, Etc

(a) The commissioner may delegate to any deputy, assistant, examiner, or employee of the department the exercise or discharge in the commissioner’s name of any power, duty, or function, whether ministerial, discretionary, or of whatever character, vested by this title in the commissioner. (b) The commissioner is responsible for the official acts of his deputy, assistant, examiner, or employee acting in the commissioner’s name and by his authority.
