Incorporation of Public Corporations - Certificate of Incorporation - Contents

The certificate of incorporation shall state: (1) The names of the persons forming it, together with their addresses, and that each is a resident of the area which will be served by the proposed corporation; (2) The name of the corporation; (3) The location of the principal office of the corporation; (4) The statement contained in the application which describes the area which will be served by the proposed corporation; (5) The name of each governing body with which an application was filed in accordance with Section 22-51-3; (6) A statement of which aspects of the programs the corporation will implement; and (7) Any other matters that the incorporators may choose to insert that are not inconsistent with this chapter or with other laws of the state.
