For the purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: (1) BARBER. Any person who shaves or trims the beard or cuts or dresses the hair of any other person for pay, including barber’s apprentices and shop boys. (2) MANAGER. Any person having, for the time being, control of the premises and of persons working or employed therein.
