There is created the Board of Rehabilitation Services consisting of seven members, one from each United States Congressional District, appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate as follows: (1) Three members shall be individuals with a disability, selected from consumer disability organizations. (2) One member shall be a parent of a child with a disability. (3) Three members shall be selected from organizations of business and industry within the state. The appointed members shall reflect the diversity of the population of the State of Alabama.
