As used in this article the following words, unless the context clearly indicates the contrary, shall have the following meanings: (1) CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. The same as is defined in subdivision (5) of Section 20-2-2, as amended; (2) CANNABIS. The same as those substances defined in subdivision (15) of Section 20-2-2, as amended, and particularly those substances defined as tetrahydrocannabinols, or a chemical derivative thereof; (3) PRACTITIONER A physician licensed to practice medicine in this state and particularly as herein enumerated.
