Counting of Votes; Results to Be Posted for Public Inspection

(a) At the close of the primary election at each voting place, and nowhere else, the inspectors and clerks shall proceed forthwith, without adjournment, in the manner provided by law in the case of general elections, to count the votes. This section shall not apply to provisional ballots governed by Section 17-10-2. (b) No later than two hours after the polls are closed, the election results for the voting place as tabulated by the inspectors shall be posted by the inspectors for public inspection at a place in the county courthouse designated by the judge of probate.
