For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the respective meanings ascribed by this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) DEPARTMENT. The State Department of Education. (2) SCHOOL. The Alabama School of Fine Arts. (3) SCHOOL BOARD. Board of Trustees of the Alabama School of Fine Arts. (4) STATE BOARD. The State Board of Education. (5) STATE SUPERINTENDENT. The State Superintendent of Education.
