(a) Any person who reports or attempts to report a credit card as being lost, stolen, or mislaid knowing the report to be false violates this subsection and shall be fined not more than $1,000.00 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both. (b) Any cardholder who, with intent to defraud, uses a credit card which has previously been reported lost, stolen, or mislaid violates this subsection and shall be fined not more than $1,000.00 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.
