Retail Theft in the Third Degree

(a) Retail theft that does not exceed five hundred dollars ($500) in retail value constitutes retail theft in the third degree. (b) Retail theft in the third degree is a Class A misdemeanor. (c) A fourth or subsequent conviction for an offense under this article is a Class C felony.
