(a) It shall be unlawful for a person to knowingly hinder or obstruct an explosive ordnance disposal or technician or bomb technician, law enforcement officer, fire official, emergency management official, animal trained to detect destructive devices or bacteriological or biological weapons, or a robot or mechanical device designed or utilized by a law enforcement officer, fire official, or emergency management official of this state or of the United States in the detection, disarming, or destruction of a destructive device or bacteriological or biological weapon. (b) A person convicted of a violation of this section shall be guilty of a Class C felony.
