Virtual or Electronic Methods for the Posting of Certain Public Notices Required by Law

Any notice required to be posted by a county or a municipality at a county courthouse or other county or municipal building or office, pursuant to this title, shall may instead be posted in both of the following ways, provided that there is also compliance with any other physical notice or publication requirement of the applicable law: (1) On any official website maintained by a county or a municipality, provided that the website is always accessible for viewing by the public, except for limited periods for necessary maintenance or temporary interruptions due to circumstances outside the control of the county or the municipality. (2) On an electronic display within the county courthouse, city hall, or other building containing county or municipal offices, in an area frequented by the public, such as a lobby, principal point of entry, or main corridor.
