(a) This section shall only apply in a Class 4 municipality organized pursuant to this chapter. (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, in any Class 4 municipality organized pursuant to this chapter, the election for the mayor, members of the city council, and members of the city board of education of the Class 4 municipality shall be held on the first Tuesday in March and every four years thereafter.
